So, where did we leave off? Oh yes, Sarah. Well, like I said, Sarah was pronounced dead in the ambulance, but revived and in the I.C.U. While she was in there, they had all these I.V.'s hooked up to her. You know, normal hospital stuff. But for some reason, she kept ripping them out of her arms. The doctors told her repeatedly not to, but she kept doing it. When it got to the point that they would have to restrain her, they asked her, "Why do you keep doing this?" And Sarah, at age 6, replied, "Because the man with the long beard keeps telling me to."
The doctors were perplexed by this. There were no doctors with long beards. Hell, there weren't any nurses running around looking like Z.Z. Top either. I'm pretty sure that Grizzly Adams wasn't coming to visit in the middle of the night either. No one could figure out who she meant, and wrote it off as a child's imagination.
Well, it turns out, that one of the drugs that they were giving her was actually killing her, How could a child know this? And who was this bearded guy? I'll let you decide that.
I am really enjoying writing this story, the story of my life. I hope that the people that are following me and reading it are enjoying it as well. I appreciate all the support, and I still need you to share this with your friends and family. Maybe you know someone who struggles with addiction, or maybe just someone who needs a friend. Door's open. I take on all comers. See ya tomorrow. I love you all. G'night.
